Scholarships

This year, through the generosity of several MAIA-affiliated groups (MI Future, YAC and Local Associations), 16 scholarships worth a total of $67,500 are currently available to those seeking a career in the independent agency system.

This year's Scholarships include:

 

Oakland County Local Association Insurance Scholarships $1,500 (2 available)
Awarded by the MI Future Board on behalf of the Oakland County Agents Association with primary consideration to Oakland County residents who are in their sophomore-senior year of an insurance-related program.

 Macomb County Local Association Internship Scholarships $500 (5 available)
Awarded by the MI Future Board on behalf of the Macomb County Agents Association this new scholarship has been created to help reimbursement MAIA members for some of their costs in bringing an intern to their agencies.

Application Deadline: Open until all annual scholarships are awarded.
