Warning Signs of Fraud

Ron will identify for attendees what fraud is and who participates. He’ll also discuss the types of fraud perpetrated on various types of insurance coverages and how agents can spot them. Class includes real life examples, and ethical dilemmas will be shared and discussed throughout. Our Hybrid Lansing classes offer both in-person and live, online attendance options for all classes but course codes are different depending on which attendance option you choose.

About Our Instructors

Big I Michigan is pleased to have Ron Devers, CIC, CAWC, CPIA Director of Agency Operations of PSI Insurance Agency. Licensed since 1989, Ron specializes in personal and business P&C products, life insurance, annuities, disability income and professional liability.

Lori Heemstra

Lori (Heemstra) Rummelt joined LaPorte Consulting in 2018 to provide operations consulting and education. She has over 30 years in the insurance industry, 17 with a large independent agency where she has served as Commercial Lines Manager. Lori possesses strong hands-on proficiency with agency operations, training, development of consistent professional standards and agency E&O loss control. She is skilled at optimizing the use of agency technology.

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your registration, you will receive a 25% refund. No refunds will be given to those who attend part of a program, or who are no-shows. If you do not cancel and do not attend the program, you will be considered a no show and no money will be refunded, nor will your money be transferred to a different class.
